Consulting/Coaching

Dr. Chaffin works with a number of firms to help their advisors develop deeper relationships with clients, focusing on the financial psychology of both the client and the advisor- all to drive better results.

“When working with an advisor or a group, my primary focus is on developing strategies that enhance their effectiveness. Given the emphasis on the psychology of financial planning, this process is as much about advisors gaining self-awareness as it is about improving their ability to serve clients.”

Interactions are always designed with a results-driven approach. Every strategy we introduce is structured with clear objectives and measurable outcomes.

Each new strategy is outlined with specificity, detailing:

• The exact change we are seeking, whether it’s improving client communication, increasing client retention, or refining an advisor’s approach to engaging clients.

• Who needs to be involved—from individual advisors to leadership teams or client service professionals.

• The time horizon for implementation- establishing realistic milestones to track progress.

• Firm-wide collaboration—identifying other stakeholders within the firm who need to be informed or engaged for the strategy to be successful.

Once a strategy is put into motion, I follow up to assess whether we’ve achieved the intended results. If adjustments are needed, we refine our approach, ensuring that the strategies we develop lead to meaningful and lasting improvements.
